Share Play by play

Post by JBronaugh » Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:18 am

I'm sorry if this topic has already been addressed, but is it possible to e-mail or otherwise share the Play-by-Play file found on the Admin website?

I don't need to edit the file, I'm tracking the playing time of the individual players and this is the only file I've found that shows a summary of where each player played.

Thank you for your support.

You can copy and paste from the Admin Site to your email program and email that way, but there is not an email from the Admin Website itself. Another option is the Team Websites which are $19.99/year and allows you to have a web presence where others can view the stats and data as well.

If you have multiple people that really like to follow your team and are i to the details of each game, player etc. the team web sites are terrific 20$ investment. Simple, and easy to maintain. You can control who has access by password too.

Highly recommend

In the same line as the original question, is it possible to download the pitch by pitch data in a table form (excel, csv) so I can put it in my own Database to do my research?

I've been trying to find a post detailing all the data that we are able to download in table form with no avail. Is there a way to download raw pitch location data, or batted ball location,

If you have a Team Website for your team, there is an API call you can use to get a full XML listing of all details of the game. It is not documented because it is a very advanced use case and we can not technically support all the questions that would come out of using it. For advanced developers that do not need support beyond seeing the data, the call is available to team website subscribers however.

Thanks FTM Support.

I do have access to Team Website. How can I make the API call if I have access?

Also, is there a way to see Batting Splits? (A batter vs Left Handed Pitcher, Right Handed Pitcher?)

We do not supply batter split stats. That can come from the TruMedia or EdgeHQ add on products.

Email us at support@iscoresports.com with the URL of your team website and we will email you back with the URL to use to see game data.
