Innings Pitched

Post by jschuff » Mon Mar 08, 2010 3:37 pm

I just finished keeping score for a fake game, to get a hang of the options. At the end, I viewed my pitchers stats, and although he pitched for over 4 innings, it says he pitched 3. I was playing a game with 5 innings, and with 2 outs per inning(see previous post). Since I skipped the 3rd out of each inning, is this why my innings pitched and ERG are incorrect? If so, is there any way to fix this so I can keep accurate pitching information?

Innings pitched is based on the number of outs made per inning. So if a pitcher started the game and 5 runs scored and he was pulled without making any outs then he would have pitched 0 innings. If you skipped the third out per inning then the stats are being displayed correctly. We do not have a way to adjust stats for games that have 2 outs per inning.
