You would need to purchase it in the appropriate app store, and it will download to your device from that store automatically.

It sounds like you have an Android Tablet since you did not specify iPad. So in that case, you would log in to Google Play from your device, purchase iScore from Google Play, and it will download onto your tablet automatically.

I created a duumy game to enter stats into that were kept manually before we started using iscore. Is there a way to put 6 games in one dummy game? I cannot seem to edit G column. Do I need to enter each game individually?

g column is not an editable column. If having that column accurate is important to you, than have to create a game for each .

Also depending on source of data

TIP: How to transfer stats from another iscore device into my iscore?

Post by okstatefanz » Thu May 02, 2013 6:12 am

I have stats provided to me from another device for a game I missed. How do import those two games into my device without overriding my current stats? I tried the discover process thinking i could just find the game and bring it over, but it only allows you to find unplayed games. I have the .csv files, but it tells me i will override all of my current data, which i don't want to do.

There has to be an easier way to bring in stats if you have the .csv files to continue the cumulative scoring. right?

Best way is data sharing. See here:

Thanks Mark, the problem i found is that the names have to be identical or it doesn't work. He used an extra letter in one of the teams names and it doesn't sync with the teams i already have in my tablet. It created a new team with new stats. I tried to edit his name, but it didn't matter. I am doing a dummy game off of his stats. Data Sharing was the way i went.

Naming convention in iscore is completely irrelevant (for data sharing and in general) - iscore uses an internal identifier. There is a mapping process for data sharing where you tell the system what players on originating device equal which players on destination device. Again, data sharing is the correct way to do this.

See if the links on this page might help in addition to the previous link:

Hello. I'm new to using iscore and the head coach has been inputting this years stats into Maxpreps before I got the app. I created a dummy game like I read to do to get the cumulative stats for the season up to date and I have been inserting stats without a problem so far. However, I have a stat from Maxpreps in the pitching section that says SB (which I know is how many stolen bases a certain pitcher has allowed), but I cannot find the section in iscore to input this stat. Can I do this on iscore or is that not a stat feature on here? Also, I have a LOB (left on base) statistic in my baserunning section from maxpreps. I found in the settings where to activate this, but is that stat from maxpreps telling me how many times that specific player has been stranded on base, or how many runners he has stranded? Thanks for your help and I love the app so far.
