Just did some research on what we are doing with notes, and the players...
When you enter a note, you have the option to say whether that note is for the "Previous" play, or the "Next" play. If you say it is for the previous play, the note gets stored in the game record with the previous play, but the note is not sent out to the iScorecast since the previous play was already sent up to the iScorecast server. If you enter the note as part of the "Next" play, then it DOES appear on the iScorecast in real time.
If you go back after the game, and do the "i-Scorecast Synchronize", then all records for the game are re-sent up to the iScorecast server, including notes from "previous" plays. So anyone viewing a replay of the game after an "i-Scorecast Synchronize" will see notes entered for both "Previous" plays and "Next" plays.
We will put on our enhancement list that it would be nice to see "previous play" notes in real time as well, but the nature of the scorecast makes that a little tricky since it is trying to show things in real time, and notes on the previous play are by definition editing something that happened in the past.
Thank you for pointing this out.

Re: Website scorecasting
I'm extending this discussion because my question/problem is similar. I've been having trouble getting games to appear on the webpage in real time. I enabled iScorecast in the options, so I thought that whenever a game was in play there would be a link on the GAMES page of the website. Parents have been going to the webpage and the game isn't listed. What is the sequence of steps I need to follow to make sure the link appears?
I think some parents have been getting the game because they go to iScorecast.com and enter the game code. Apparently that usually works. They just can't get to it via our team page.

Re: Website scorecasting
Going to http://iscorcast.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is the recommended approach. If you have a team website, the user can enter just the name of the team website as the Customer ID.
The games will not appear on the Team Website until the game exists on the team website (after you have created the game and done an export). If you create the game, and do an Options -> Export from your device, then the iScorecast will appears on your team website as soon as you being scoring the game.

Re: Website scorecasting
Would love to see the iscorecast have an option for JUST the game listing at the top (ie w/o the field) so it's like a ticker so instead of imbeding the entire full screen (field and all) on a page in an iframe we could just have it act like a ticker across the top of a page. Then with this option the clicking of a game would redirect to another screen/frame.
