Not following what you mean. This thread is about the twitter feeds.

If you are referring to the iScorecast, we have not had any issues that we know of with that. There were many thousands of games scored with iScorecast today, and we have not had any issues reported that we know of.

No actually if you read the first question it was about iscore. The iscore is not showing up on the website. I have the toggle switch to on but it does not sync to the web. The twitter DOES work but iscore does not work. It did work when I was doing college games this spring but not this weekend. I have read the manual and searched the website but can not find out what is wrong. It is supposed to automatically sync to the web correct? If the toggle is on to do this is there anything else that I need to do to start this process?

The subject of this thread is "twitter and iscore". Twitter is a feature, iScore is the product.

If you are referring to iScorecasts, that is the feature where you can score games live over the internet. We have not had any issues reported of it not working this weekend from the server side, and we have checked everything on the server and things are working fine (over 10,000 games scored with iScorecast over the weekend).

The only thing we can think of that would cause the iScorecast not to work would be the internet connection. You say you have a strong connection, but the "number of bars" does not always indicate the internet connection itself. You should try a test game while at home connected to WiFi and confirm that works. That will tell whether it is a setting in iScore that is having an issue, or if it is the 3G connection you have while at the game that is having an issue. If it works at home while connected to WiFi, then the issue is likely something with the 3G connection while at the field. If you have trouble while connected with WiFi, then there is likely a setting that is not correct and we can help you through that.

What is happening is I have the toggle on the iscorecasts set to "on". I put in my line up and I hit the iscorecast syncronize bar. A message comes up and tells me that I do not need to do this if the iscorecasts toggle is on. However, the line up shows up on the internet, it goes to the internet after I hit the iscorecast Synchronize bar. Then nothing happens on the internet. It does not autosync (as it has in the past--it worked all college season). However, during the game if I exit out of the game to the Game info page, hit the i-scorecast synchronize bar then it updates on the internet to that point.

I just can not figure out how to get it to auto synchronize. It has worked in the past but has not worked this summer for the past 10 games.

I do have a work around (see above) but I would certainly prefer it to work as you have designed it to.

Thank you very much for your help in this matter.

Interestingly enough the twitter toggle is set to "on" and it automatically sends twitter. Now if I can figure out how to get the iscorecast to do the same.....

Have you tried a test game from home with WiFi as suggested? Does that work?

What version of iScore are you running (version can be found on Title screen in iScore) and what type of device?

I am on an ipad. 3.51.106 is the version I believe.

I will attempt to put in a game tomorrow as a test. I had excellent connectivity this weekend in the city of Naperville, IL. I was able to use my ipad for all uses including all internet functions.

The iscorecast also worked when i manually pushed the iscorecast sync bar and it worked immediately when I did this upto the point that the game was at.

The iScorecast Sync will work even when you have iScorecast turned off on your device.

I just tried the simulated game tonight. It did not work with the auto sync. I manually synced in the 4th inning and end of game and then it did sync up. It did not auto-sync as it did this spring.

I am on a state of the art ATT uverse high speed system. My ipad is connected to the internet and all internet systems are working properly and tested to work properly. My ipad is functioning perfectly. All programs on computers/ipads and iphones are all functional.

Only problem I seem to be having is auto-sync.

OK. Currently it is the only way that I can sync as the auto feature is not working when the toggle is in the "on" position. I have also tried turning it off/on and restarting the ipad.

I really appreciate your help.

Thank you for looking into this for me. It worked great this spring and was really appreciated by many parents/fans that were not able to attend the games.

If you can help me figure out what to do I would appreciate it.

We are having a difficult time coming up with what the cause might be as our servers are not having any issues. We have thousands of games being iScorecast every day. Maybe the app itself has somehow gotten corrupted. We would recommend trying to re-install iScore and see if that helps. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Do an Options -> Export in iScore to make sure your newest data is on our server. Make sure you get a "Success" message after doing the export

2. Go to the Home Screen on your iPad

3. Place and hold your finger on the iScore icon until it starts shaking. Press the red X to delete iScore from your device

4. Go to the App Store on your device, and go to the Purchased tab. Find iScore, and tap the Install button to re-install iScore on your device

5. Start iScore, and do an Options -> IMPORT to retrieve your data back to your device

6. On the Options screen, tap the i-ScoreCast row. Go back to the Options screen and turn the iScorecast functionality ON again.

7. Try and create a new game and score it with iScorecast enabled
