Go to the Player Card for that player, and see which game is listed that he should not be in. Maybe he was used in a test game or you accidentally had him on the roster for the other team (which would make him appear twice in the Player Card list for the same game).

When I've noticed this type of thing, it has been because a game had the incorrect league set. Biggest problem I've had is that with so many games it's a lot of taps to figure which game I've inadvertently unchecked on the league page that is throwing off my stats....

I checked the player card and it is only showing 10 games for that player. Team status show 11 games. Team website shows 10 games.
