I just purchased this app and before I get myself crazy I have a question: Do I have to enter pitch location and type, or can I simply enter Ball/Strike/Foul? For my purposes, I really only need to know balls, strikes and total pitches. Thanks much!

Welcome to the board.
You do not need to enter pitch locations. All the stats populate with just balls, strikes (looking and swinging).

Actually a lot of the things you CAN enter are not required. You don't even have to enter balls/fouls/strikes if you are not interested in the pitch tracking (you could still select In Play -> Walk, or Out->Strikeout without entering each pitch). You can also skip things like the hit locations and hit types. We try and be flexible, and use whatever information you enter.

Yes, thank you FTM. I had a feeling when I wrote that comment above your clarification that this particular update would not allow either cooperative scorekeeping or the introduction of shared sub-apps that could be merged into basic scorekeeping (pitch and hit tracking - something I've been interested in and commenting on here for a while now and something I know you're interested in but might take until you have another offseason to build and implement). Let me just echo and second Bones' comments - the separation (and enhancement) of pitch and hit tracking into a separate app that could later be merged into game scoring data would be the ultimate upgrade for high-end users. If iTouch and iPad both end up with cameras in them in future generations, a simple speed gun app to supplement that would really be icing on the cake!

Keep up the good work. I LOVE the app.
