To many batters

Post by milaman » Sat Jul 03, 2010 10:01 pm

I forgot to skip a batter and ended up having a 10th batter. How do I move everyone up one to correct the stats?

All at bats are stored by batting position. This allows you to fix substitutions after the fact, but does mean you need to enter the at bats for the correct batting positions. There are two ways to correct this after the fact. The first would be to undo to the point of the scoring mistake, and re-enter data from that point. The second would be to go to the pitch by pitch and do offensive substitutions for every batter. Neither solution is great, but depending where in the game this occurred (inning 1 vs closer to the end), one method or the other may be easier.
