New user struggle w/ Twitter & website

Post by Onealbc4 » Fri Jun 18, 2010 9:18 am

I'm a new user. Some questions:

1. I've input our Twitter acct but when I push test, the app does not send to web. I've got Twittercast set to yes. Anything I need to change?

2. I manage several teams under 1 organization. How can I get them all under 1 website? I purchased texastwistsoftball but cannot link my teams to it.

3. Also I accidently deleted my team that purchased the website for $19.99. Now it won't let me access it. Any ideas?

4. Also is there a way to input the number of innings. App has 9 as default. I need 7 max

1 I don't use twitter but there are some current server issues that FTM is working with the provider to get resolved

2 The websites are set up for only one team at a time. League websites are on FTM's things to do list from previous requests.

3 FTM will have to answer that one.

4 From game manager, use + sign, input the teams to play, press options, select # of innings. After you set your first game the app will default to that number.

Welcome to the board.

Welcome

#1 - this may be a temporary problem... there are reported internet connectivity issues today/yesterday (beyond FTM control).. hold on this one for time being, (no one hass reported one way or another if twitter impacted

#2 - Currently, Team Web Sites are for individual teams, not Leagues or groups. FTM has talked in this board about someday a League type subscription service. but has not given a timetable or cost structure. for now, like it or not, one team per web site subsciption. that is how it works...

#3 - oops, not good. but recoverable, but will take manual work by FTM. a) Re Create your desired team on handheld, b) Do an Export (OPTIONS > EXPORT) and c) Send a seperate email to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com describing your situation and include your Customer ID (find at OPTIONS > ADMIN USER WEB SITE)

#4 For Each game, under options, you can specify the number of innings.

Lastly, I highly encourage new users to watch the online tutoirals ... and encourage users to join and be activive in the user forum community..
