I've only used my iPad once during the day and it was miserable. I couldn't see a thing.
Can anyone recommend a good screen glare reducing protector that they find works great?
Thanks,

Re: Screen Protector/glare reduction
Have not tried a screen protector, but we are working on "skins" for the iPad version that will allow using a bright background with dark text. This will help when using in bright sunlight.

Re: Screen Protector/glare reduction
FYI, I visited my local Apple store yesterday and was told they are not aware of after-market glare-recuction/screen protectors but they anticipated they would be available soon. Checked on Amazon, and there are already some on the market there. Not sure how well they work though.
If you can find a shaded area on a sunny day, it definitely helps a lot.

Thx for that FTM. Although it was literally impossible to see almost anything on the screen. I couldn't even show photos or anything to a friend. It's just that the screen is so darn reflective it's hard t see anything!
Pliven - I did go to an Apple store like you and it seems they've gotten rid of all their screen protectors - even for the iPhone. I think it has to d more with a point they are trying to make that their screens are so durable that you don't need them!
I did notice online that they have the glare reduction screens - I'm going to buy one and then I'll post the results here.
Thanks,

I had this anti-glare screen protector for my iPhone and loved it so I got it for my iPad too.
Scored a game this weekend with this screen and the new skin. Worked great.

Re: Screen Protector/glare reduction
Thanks FDT92... we have not tried any on the iPad, but good to know that one is working for you. If anyone has tried others, maybe this is a good place to share ideas on them. $24.95 seems a bit steep for an anti-glare film, but maybe that is just what they cost.

Re: Screen Protector/glare reduction
Sorry for the delay in responding. It took a couple of weeks for me to actually get mine (they were back ordered).
I ended up getting the Speck Shield View:
http://www.amazon.com/Speck-ShieldView- ... 874&sr=8-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Works real nice and it is made well. Fits perfectly. Just have to be careful when you put it on. Any speck of dirt or dust will show up underneath. Easy to install, just be careful to clean it REAL well before you install (this will be the case with any screen protector).
It really does a nice job with the glare.
