Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
I followed your instructions exactly and made sure that I hit "save" before I exited. I could go into the batting statistics and the line up would be in order but when I exited the program and then re entered, all the names were gone again.
Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
I followed your instructions to the letter and made sure that I hit "save" afterward but the data wasn't saved. After I left the pitch by pitch section and saved the data, I could look at the batting statistics and all the names were there. But when I left the game completely and wend back in, all the names were gone again.

Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
I have exported my database to your server and I e-mailed my customer ID as well. To answer another post, none of my players have any special characters in their names.
Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
After importing my fixed database, I followed the instructions via the game manager, pitch by pitch edit, ... and everything worked great.
Thanks again for everyones input.

glad it is solved. !!!! .
will be curious if FTM isolated the source/cause... or if it is just one of those one off.. who knows.

Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
FTM isolated the cause - me! I had deleted some incomplete players from my player manager and in doing so, correupted the data. All good now except for one game with bad data. I may just delete the game entirely and re-enter it.
Re: Correcting a lineup after a game has been completed
yes....,. deleting players can have some unanticipated effects on the database. even players you think you never will need again. .. been there done that,
TIP - ...what I do to de clutter my player manager periodically, is instead of deleting opponent players that i think i no longer need, I now just assign them it a special league i created called 'HidePlayers'. When 'hideplayers' league is turned off, the players effectively disapear and underlying database stays trouble free. ..
