Import back onto SAME device after iscore APP deleted (resolved)
Good morning... I accidentally deleted my iScore app and downloaded it from my "cloud". I tried to import my data back but it was not successful. Help would be appreciated.

Re: Import back onto SAME device after iscore APP deleted
If you could help me with some more information, I can probably get you back and running quickly.
#1) BEFORE you deleted the app did you happen to ....
a) REGISTER the app with iscore (by Option > Register) to an EMAIL address ??
if so, it will be very easy to Recover your data quickly.. Just Reply back here and I will walk you through the steps,
basically, you will log into my.iscorecentral.com, and copy database from old device to new device then on new device > option > import as described at this FAQ http://iscoresports.com//baseball/kb/fa ... lldata.php
b) KNOW your old App CUSTOMER/ DEVICE ID and PASSWORD ??
any chance BEFORE you deleted the app, you wrote down your customer ID and password? ( found on Device at > Iscore > Option > Admin Web site ).
if so, this is the second easiest way to recover, just post back here and I will walk you through the steps, but
basically it is .. on new Device > Option > Data Share from Web > type in: sync:OldDeviceID and password, > then transfer 1 by 1
Here is more info on Data Sharing http://iscoresports.com//baseball/kb/fa ... _share.php
c) Did you have a paid Team Web site subscription ??
If so, will be recoverable but will take a bit longer. post back, team name and/or URL and i will see what i can do, but most likely, will then need to email support@isocresports.com and they can back trace the Web Site purchase to the customer ID.
#2) When you say you " tried to import my data back but it was not successful". What did you do?
(a little more description, will help me know what you already have tried, and where best to pick up the help effort)
#3) OPTIONAL - additional background/information on your usage for Context ..
* what type of device do you have - apple or android? - phone or tablet?
* what level of iscore user would you classify yourself - newbie, rookie, average, experienced veteran or power user?
* ball park guess number of games scored before and trying to recover ,( simple guess will work . 5, 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000, is close enough) .
* did you use iscorecast to broadcast when you score?
* did you adjust the synchronization settings on your old device or just leave as application default (Device > Option > Synchronization) ?
* did you "back up" your iscore database regularly (on Device > iscore App > Option > Export) ?
/ charles
P.S> If you have not already, Write down and save your new app device/customer ID number.. you get it from your Device > Iscore app > Options > Admin Website > customer ID and password.

Re: Import back onto SAME device after iscore APP deleted
Update:
@ Stadtusquo... I wrote my prior post assuming a new user (sorry). After posting, I noticed that you are a long time veteran and have been a registered forum member for many years. GREAT and THANKS for your contribution over the years to the forum. Accordingly, I will tray and answer your question a bit more directly, given you are a veteran user.
1) I assume you registered your old app before deleting and are also familiar with logging on and using the admin web site at my.iscorecentral.com website.
2) Log into my.iscorecentral.com and follow instruction http://iscoresports.com//baseball/kb/fa ... lldata.php a
a) on the admin site, you will copy and paste your old iscore data base from old device to new device. (FYI - when you re download the app from google or apple, iscore treats like a new device and assigns a new device ID # ) .
2b after copying the database on the Admin server, on your Device > iscore app > "OPTION > IMPORT" to retrieve the database to your device.
3) Next you will want to double check if missing any games stored on the special iscore "sync"" and "sc:" servers.
(i.e. if you scored a game with internet connection and sync enabled or iscorecast enabled, but had not yet OPTION > EXPORTED, the program stores your game on the special "sync:" and/or "sc:" servers. these servers are different than the default admin/team web site server that you accessed with OPTION > EXPORT/IMPORT. )
You can check these servers by Device > iscore app > Option > Data Share > Get from Web > ...
3a) Option > Data Share > Get from Web > "sync:oldDevice ID" and Password
( i.e. the trick is to add "sync and colon" to the front of your device id, it then searches the "sync:" server )
3b) Option > Data Share > Get from Web > "sc:oldDevice ID" and Password
( i.e. the trick is to add "sc and colon" to the front of your device id, it then searches the iscorecast "sc:" server )
4) once you have completed Option> Import, "sync:" and "sc:" retrials. you will want to do an "Option > Export" to re- update the Admin and team web site server with your now updated database.
5) if you have a team web site subscription... you will need also need to re assign the team from old device to new device ID at my.iscorecentral.com. http://iscoresports.com//baseball/kb/fa ... ewteam.php
/charles
P.S> FOR OTHERS READING THIS POST.
* Lesson learned --> register your iscore apps (Device > Iscore > Option > register )
* this helps in case of accidental device loss or app removal.

Re: Import back onto SAME device after iscore APP deleted
I do not know if I registered my device??? Ugh
Re: Import back onto SAME device after iscore APP deleted
it is easier if you registered to email, but OK. if you did not ... as long as you have your prior device ID.. and password..
so we can log into the prior admin web site at my.iscorecentral.com.
Send me email and we can resolve off line
