Need help: Multiple devices?

Post by mulderxcoltrane » Fri May 15, 2015 11:12 am

Hi folks,

I have iScore on my Ipad, but will be leaving on vacation (with that iPad) and will miss a few games. If my assistant coach has an iPad, can he use the software/app on his device since I've already paid for it? Or will he have to pay the $10 to put it on his device?

You can leave your device with him and he can use it, but if he wants to install iScore on his own device, he would have to purchase it. This is true of any application, and is governed by Apple or Google.

You can transfer data between your devices once iScore is installed however by following the instructions here:

You "could" download the app on your assistant's iPad but sign into the App Store as yourself, which "should" give you access to the apps you have already downloaded so you could then download on his device as if it were you.

I've done this on Google in the past.

You may want to check into the user license agreement about whether this is a legal use of an account. We allow whatever the individual app stores allow, but this sounds like it may be borderline on what is actually allowed.
