Re: team websites
We will be putting up a showcase of actual customer sites soon. In the meantime, here are sites from a couple customers that have given us the go-ahead to show them:
This one is a completely default site. The customer created the site, and other than editing the home page, everything was left unchanged - at least at the time of this posting... it is the standard iScore Green colors - they may change it at any time:
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/brownbombers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The next is an example of one team from a whole league. The customer actually integrated it into their league website, and has a page per team that are all consistent with the look of the league. You will also notice they plugged in their Google Calendar (very simple to do if you already have one, or you can use the one built into the websites):
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/wvpbbroncoangels" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Here is another site with a very customized look and shows what can be done just by changing a few settings.
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/redwater" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Each aspect of the website can optionally be password protected. Some users choose to allow games/rosters/calendars to be seen by anyone, but protect the statistics so only coaches or team parents can see them. It is up to you.
As mentioned above, we will create a showcase as more customers give permission to show their sites, but we don't want to put links to sites without their permission. There are some very nice sites that have been made.
The best thing about the websites is that immediately on export, all statistics and game information is updated. This means your entire website can be updated before you even leave the field (assuming an iPhone or iPod Touch with internet connectivity).
