my son is in 9th grade and on the high school team and I will keep the stats
there are 51 players which make up 3 teams - Varsity, JV and 9th/10th grade team
I have all 51 players listed under the team name.
our players are moved like a farm team - if they play well on the 9/10 team they could be moved to jv or possibly varsity
if they struggle at varsity they could be moved to JV so you really aren't for sure who is in what lineup from game to game
my question is what is the best way to set this up?
do i just keep the team under 1 team name and then have 3 different leagues? or how do i designate which one of the 3 teams it is for the game? would it be easier to try to add all 3 teams and have all 51 under each team?
thanks for your suggestions

Re: Varsity, JV, 9/10th grade team
We would suggest creating a separate team for each level. If you want to include all the players on all the teams, that is fine, but it seems likely that the players will be pretty much set when the season starts and there will not be a lot of movement between the teams for the majority of the players. A few may float up/down and having them listed on both teams is fine.

thank you very much. is there a way to duplicate the team and then change the team name?

No, we do not have a duplicate team option, but it is something we will add to our enhancement list.

Re: Varsity, JV, 9/10th grade team
i would assume a core roster under team manager and then tailor game day line up game to game based on who dresses out
It would be rare for all 51 to play on all teams. I suspect few if any SRs never play on freshman team and suspect only a few freshman ever dress varsity. Some but not all
One trick you may not have thought of.. Create a special "Active HS Roster league". And then assign all 51 players to it and only the 51. Then when you start a game , and have the line up screen, and click on add a player, the list is shorter to scroll through
