runners won't advance
I just got v4.46.404 with a Kindle Fire HD.
I had bases loaded. Ground ball to 1B, who commits a throwing error. I assigned the error, but I can't make the runners advance. I tried via Advance by Batter, and I tried using the Error buttons.
The next batter comes up, but the bases are still loaded. No runners advanced. What am I doing wrong?
p.s. are there tutorials specific to this version of Iscore?

Re: runners won't advance
Yes, the instructions are for that version.
You would tap In Play, Safe, Error, (asks for location), Next, tap player that made error, Done. iScore will then ask what happened the the runners at each base. For the runner on Third, you would tap Safe, Home, Advanced by Batter (or Same Error if the runner would not have advanced without the error). Then do the same for each runner that iScore asks about.
The bases would still be loaded when the play ends unless two runners scored.

Re: runners won't advance
This is embarrassing. I got my plays mixed up.
The error was on the previous play. I think I entered that play correctly; what I did is touch In Play/Error/1B/Done/SameError for all runners.
Now I have bases loaded, 1 out. Next batter grounds out 4-3. I touch Out/Ground Out 4-3/Advance By Batter for all 3 runners. Now next batter comes to the plate, but I'm still showing bases loaded as in the previous play.

Re: runners won't advance
You have to actually advance the runners. The default on the ground out selection is that the runners stay at their current base. Just pressing advanced by batter button (but leaving them at their current base), doesnt advance them.ccriscuolo wrote:This is embarrassing. I got my plays mixed up.

swipe up on OUT button (or tap OUT button and select Ground Out), select 4-3, tap home, advanced by batter, tap third, advanced by batter, tap second, advanced by batter.

Great reply mark..
I will add, if you are trying to correct in post game editor..
you can not advance a batter a base in post game pitch by pitch edit mode, as that would impact future events, the editor only allows you to impact singular events that would not have adverse ripple effects on future play.. you can edit the score and make a note in post game editor..
If you want to get the scorecard perfect, you will have to re score the game

Re: runners won't advance
Well, that's awkward
Is there a manual and/or tutorial for v4.46.404? The trainer on the website is for v4.0.
Thanks Mark

The materials on the website all apply to v4.46 as well. If you scroll to the bottom of the training page there is a full manual in addition to the videos. Here is a link to the training page:

Thank you, FTM. I would never have found that manual.
