how to repeat batter when 3rd out of inning is made on bases

Scenario:
- Bases loaded.
- Batter X is batting.
- On the 3rd pitch, the Runner on 3rd base is picked off, ending the inning.
- The next inning, Batter X should be up again. How to make this happen?

As a workaround, I forced an End of Inning to get iScore to switch to the other team's batting lineup. But, the next time our team came up, it wanted to start the inning with Batter Y (who bats after Batter X). How to get out of this pickle?

iScore will automatically bring the same player back up if the inning is ended on the basepath. When that happens, you need to enter the runner as making the out though, not the batter. If you tap "Out" on the scoring screen, then you are saying the batter made the out and the next batter in the lineup would be up the next inning. If the runner on third is picked off, you would tap the runner, select Out, Third, Picked Off, and enter who made the play (2-5). The next time the team is up to bat, iScore will know to bring the same batter back up to bat.

Is the only way to recover from the workaround that I did to undo everything to get back to the pickoff event? As the game is going on, can I "fudge" it and just adjust the batting lineup to have Batter X bat again?

You can undo back to that point, or if you are in the middle of scoring and just do not want to Undo the other team's at bat, you can use Misc -> Skip Batter to get back to the right batter in your lineup.

If you have already scored the complete game however, you may be better off just rescoring the game.
