Data sharing between devices

Post by enelson33 » Sun Mar 16, 2014 1:16 pm

I have two data devices registered….an iPhone and iPad. Both of these have separate device numbers assigned to these as listed on the website's registration section. I logged in a game on the iPhone and exported it to the server. The game wasn't showing up on the server until I switched to the device number associated with my iPhone on the registration page. Then when I went to download the game on my IPAD I clicked on the Get web database and entered my customer ID and password. To get the game to show up I needed to input the device number of my iPhone in the Customer ID space (the device I entered the game on. Then I was able to dowload and map the game. Am I doing this the correct way… or making this more difficult than I should be?

Thanks for a great app - enjoying it so far!

You just need to do an Export from the device that scored the game, then use Data Sharing from the device you want to copy the game to. You do not need to log in to the Admin Website to do the data sharing. Here is a link that describes data sharing in detail:

Your devices will 'remember' the last ID you enter in Data Share > get from web ... So next time will go faster

On device 1 option> export
On device 2...Option> data Share > get from web database > id for last entry ( aka device 1) will auto populate > password ( device 1) ..,

As FTM said .. No need to go to admin site

Note once the game is on both devices it will no longer shoe up in list to choose from
