New Season

Post by medicpelle » Tue Mar 04, 2014 9:29 am

Why when I add a new season my previous season stats appear? I want to keep other teams stats but want ours reset.

You have to use Leagues to separate the stats. See the iScore documentation about leagues here:

I understand turning on the Default setting which everything we scored was under last fall, but if I uncheck only my team from the default season it still shows stats from last fall.

Leagues are great for separating seasons , and often groups within seasons .. Eg Scrimmages.. Regular season games.. Conference vs non conference games as well as playoffs .

Learning seasons use will enhance the utility of Iscore

It is a key to how you can see a players lifetime stats or just last year or last week if you want

To not see stats from last fall, you would go to League Manager and turn OFF the ALL league and any other leagues other than the new league you created for this season. Then you will only see the stats for games that are assigned to the new league you created for this season.

You can also do this on the Team Stats screen by tapping the filter at the bottom of the team stats screen and selecting only the league for this year in the list of leagues. It will then show only stats for games that are assigned to the new league you have created.

I fully admit I'm an iscore idiot since we made the change from GC last fall. I have done what is being told to me and what I have read and watched but it is not doing what I am wanting. I unchecked all but Spring 2014 and yes I see do data from any games from the fall. I want to see every opponent we played team stats including spray charts for this upcoming season during this seasons games and not ours. (That's why I switched, way easier).

I tried unchecking my team from both lists ( in the league settings and from the team stats screen) from the previous season and it still shows our stats. So I'm wanting other teams collective data and not ours. I have tried and tried. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, or it is not capable, or I am explaining what I need in a poor way.

Relax we will help you learn and master

The best way I find to view opponent spray charts is to go on the admin web site and you can print off a page by team.

On your device..

You will find you enable and disable leagues in league manager depending on your needs

If you want to ' see all' just enable the special "all" league
You can then pull up an opponent team in team manager or a specific player and see team or player stats and hit charts as you wish, ( team hit charts is easier on web).

If you are going to play a team from last season this season. You likely want to put them in both this season and last season leagues. Same with players , ( if you want, the alternative is just enable all league and then disable when you only want this season info)

When scoring a game , their last at bat hit location history is viewed by tapping the screen near the bald an strike notation near batter icon . There is last at bat and spray chart

By the way.,Leagues are a great feature not found in GC . The interface is a bit different but Iscore gives you more stats and more details and better scorecards for better value in my opinion
