Add-Ons

Post by Tbielec » Sat Mar 01, 2014 6:10 pm

I purchased the 2014 MLB Roster/Stats Add-On last week for the entire 2014 season.....have used it a couple times during the early Spring Training season..... Now today, the Add-On does not appear .... But it wants me to buy it again for the $19.99 I've already paid. I'm assuming you can fix this........

There was a server crash ..that has impacted connectivity related features

For more info on this, There is a global announcement of the forum about this .. It says MLB add on is one of the parts impacted.

Once this is fixed in next few days . Should get MLB back

Two additional questions....

How do I acquire the team lineups for a game about to begin, from the "add-on" MLB subscription I have purchased.

Secondly....which radar guns, "Juggs" guns, are supported in use with the wireless feature of "pitch speed" with the most recent version of iScore Baseball?

Allow me to be more specific on the first question on lineups....I'm referring to the Starting Lineups released by the managers prior to the start of every game......

(I have not used any radar guns with iscore - sorry no help there. )

Read this article on MLB Add on.

two ways.

New Data Button
Option > Add ons.
when you press the New Data refresh arrow button, the most current rosters will be downloaded to your device. Major League Rosters are updated daily, early in the morning and you can come back to the Add Ons screen at any time to retrieve the lastest data.

Synch button
New Game> Starting Line Ups….
The Sync button appears in the upper left corner of the Starting Lineup screen for Apple devices and the lower left corner of the screen for Android devices.

To get the starting lineups for the games, you will tap the Sync button on each lineup prior to the start of the game. See the following link for more information on MLB Roster usage:

For the radar gun, we support the Stalker radar guns as used by MLB teams. It does require a $150 device in addition to the radar gun itself however, so it is a bit expensive, but it does allow automatically getting the speed of each pitch without having to manually enter the speeds.

Thanks for the info on the AddOns Starting Lineup question....

As for the radar guns....I've looked over the Stalker Radar.com site.....what are the products and accessories needed for the proper function of a radar speed gun working in conjunction with iScore Baseball running on iPad? I'm assuming it's going to function through Bluetooth ..... Please provide a list of components required.
