A Few Easy Questions for a Newbie!

Post by rbraitz » Mon Feb 24, 2014 7:00 pm

Thanks in advance for responses...

1. If I am using an android or ios device and i lose battery during a game/tourney weekend, whatever the case, can anyone else login to the app with a different device and keep game stats?

2. Can game stats be done without wi-fi and/or internet access? In other words, can scoring be done locally to the iphone/ipad, android tablets for example, then once you reach a wifi area, etc. then the stats are uploaded? Obviously the notifications will be turned off, etc..

thanks

1. You can use data sharing prior to running out of battery to transfer the game to another device, and that device can then score the game. If you are using iScorecast, you can use data sharing from the iScorecast to transfer to another device as well, and continue scoring that way.

2. Yes, you can score without an internet. You will not be able to use iScorecast (allowing viewers to watch as you score live) without an internet connection however.
