duplicate game under one player. How do I correct

Post by bobseale@comcast.net » Fri Aug 23, 2013 6:12 pm

I am scoring on an I pad mini and the team has played two games. Under the team stats for one of the players, it show three games. One is a duplicate of our first game. How do I correct so that this player's stats are correct. All of the other players show two games.

If sounds like you started a game (with the player) and did not complete ...and need to delete the extra game

If you are positive it is an extra not needed game. Just select under team manager and delete it

Another cause of this is putting the player on both the home + visitor lineups. Check the starting lineup for both teams of the game that is duplicated and see if maybe you accidentally added the player to the lineup of the opposing team as well. Or if the player is listed twice in the lineup for your team. In either case, you can remove the incorrect player from the lineup.

To check the starting lineup, go to Game Manager, select the game, tap Pitch by Pitch, tap the Game Starts event, and tap Edit next to Starting Lineup.

I had not thought of that .... Player on both home and away...

So what you need to do is find out which specific games the player is in and correct the extra entry ..

You can use player card to help identify the games associated with the suspect player.
Player Manager > Select Player > player card > Stats ... Scroll to far right column to see game names

( Since you were already in team manager viewing team stats, you can also pull up player card by team roster eg .. team manager> select team > tap roster > select player > player card > stats )

This will help you identify each game you have player in the game line up. And if an extra game that needs removing or just an extra entry in a specific game line up home or away

If you need help on how to remove from a game line up using edit , post back

It pays to read these boards at random because I found a solution to a problem that occurred a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for posting this simple fix.
