Charts - pitching location hitting location

Post by LasVegasCFP » Sun Jun 23, 2013 2:01 pm

How do I view pitching charts? For example I'm starting to track location, how do I see where my pitchers are throwing etc and percentages of types of pitches etc.?

Same with batting, how do I see where my batters are hitting pitches by location etc?

There must be a way to use the pitch type and location information in the scorekeeper but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks!

We responded to your email as well - here is the response we gave:

Pitching charts are available on the emailed scorecard PDF files for each game. If you are using an Android device, you can also view them on the Player Cards. During a game, if you tap the little 3 ball icon, it will show them during the game as well.

For percentages of balls / strikes by pitch type, you will want to turn those stats on in stats. See the following link from the iScore documentation on doing this:

http://iscoreleagues.com/manual/#h.dpmrtn6dkm5f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For batting, the hit charts are available on the player cards as well as on the Admin Website (see the "Hit Locations" link when viewing a team on the Admin Website).

If you are looking for more in depth analysis, there are two third party add ons that can give more detailed matchups by pitcher, hits by pitch types, etc. They are http://edgehq.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the TruMedia Analytics add on.
