Change the lineup after the game starts

I started the game with 10 players and when the game started, the 10th player didn't make it to the game and we only had 9 players. Other than skip him every time, is there a way to remove him with no substitution to continue with 9? I am a very new user of this app. All help is appreciated.

Misc-starting lineup. Change player to batting no. Provided this is done before batting thru lineup

Thanks for the assistance. I knew there must be an easy way, just haven't played with it enough to learn how to make changes and during the heat of the game doesn't work. They wouldn't appreciate me trying to stop the game until I figured it out. My work around was to just skip the batter each time he came up, but I like your solution much better. Thanks again for the tip.
