Batting Order Stats edit?

Post by Duck Hunter Too » Thu May 23, 2013 7:28 am

We play in a 12U Rec League that allowed a late player to enter the game in the midway through the bottom of the second inning. I was able to add him to the game line-up but after he had already batted which set our whole offensive rotation off for the rest of the game. Not knowing how to edit this on the fly I continued to keep stats so the game final score would be accurate. I'd like to edit this so that each batters stats are accounted for. Help????

Once you have completed an entire rotation of the batting lineup, you can no longer make changes (i.e. add or delete players,) only substitutions. Your way to correct this would be to rescore the game including the extra batter from the beginning. Skip the batter until the inning he is there to play.

It is actually pretty easy to rescore a game using your existing scorecard and play-by-play as guidance. Can be done in about 15 minutes.

Just one small edit... you can add a batter to the end of a lineup at any time by going to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup, and adding a player to the end with Batting = YES. You can not "insert" a player into a lineup though (we have never seen a league that allows "inserting" players, only adding to the end, so this should not be a problem).
