Good morning - a friend and I manage both an Eastern New York travel team and a Little League team. We both have accounts in iScore but we want to be able to manage both teams from either his or my account. Using the data sharing function on the web allows me to get some data from his iScore admin site, but not all. For example...
We have a travel double header tomorrow, and he entered the roster for the opponent on his iScore admin page. I cannot retrieve the data he entered and load it to my account so I can score tomorrow's games. I have imported our travel game schedule to my account, but I cannot import opposing team rosters that he has subsequently entered on his account.
Is there some basic information we should have about using two iScore accounts to manage the same teams? Will we have a problem uploading game information to the iScore site because we may be scoring games throughout the season from two tablets (one iPad one Android)? How will this affect the data being populated on the team iScore websites?
I am relatively new to iScore (coming over from another product on advice from peers), but I am an experienced coach/scorekeeper. Can someone on the forum give me any advice as it specifically relates to managing multiple teams/leagues from one account, and sharing this multiple team/league data between two different iScore accounts?
Thanks,
Zoom

Re: Managing Teams From Multiple Accounts
If you already have the team on your device, then Data Sharing will not show that team again. Data Sharing only shows new Teams / Games that do not already exist on your device. You can delete the team and re-import it through Data Share. Or you can import the Game through data share, and this will also update the rosters of the two teams involved.
The other option would be to use the Discover feature instead of data sharing. Using Discover will update the roster each time you "re-discover" the team. To use this, go to Team Manager, select Discover, select iScore, select Device, and enter the customer ID of the device you want to share from and you can select the team you want to Discover.
You will have to use Data Share to transfer game data between devices as discover does not transfer fully scored games.
