Wild pitch with extra runners

Post by AAngels » Tue Mar 12, 2013 12:02 pm

I searched the query for this question and didn't see it, so please forgive if it's been discussed before.

If you have 2 runners on base, i.e. 1st and 2nd and pitcher lets go a WP and both runners advance do you:

score lead runner as advancing on a WP and the next runner as something else, or do you score both with advancing on a WP.

It seems that advancing both on a WP may charge pitcher with 2 WPs instead of 1.

Is that correct?

You would tap the lead runner, advance to the next base because of wild pitch, it will ask what happened to the trail runner, you would select advance base on wild pitch. Because they are both entered in the same sequence, iScore knows it was a single wild pitch that caused both runners to advance and the pitcher is only assigned one WP.

Both advance on WP (or passed ball).

When you score on same sequence, iscore only charges one.

This is the same with errors, too, BTW...

Just scored my first tournament this weekend and that's how I scored all WPs with more than one base runner, but I later had a thought that I may have erred. They don't keep stats for scorer's error do they?

Thanks for the input!
