Adding a document to website

we are having a fundraiser for our team that is a basketball tournament. we would like to be able to get the teams to enter to go to our website to view the brackets. Is it possible to add a document or should I just type the text of game schedules on the home page?

We do not have "documents", but we have seen people create an image of their brackets and include it in their home page. You can upload the image to the Photos tab and it then becomes selectable when inserting an image on the Home page.
