How do i set up a guest log-in?

Post by gforce.estell » Mon Oct 29, 2012 6:04 pm

I want to set up a guest log-in for only our players and parents to use. It appears that I should be able to do this in the admin section of our team website. But, I have been unsuccessful.

Under settings. Log in as admin and you will see where you can set a guest password as well as a password for photo upload and API code. You also indicate which pages require a password to view. Make sure none of these is the same as your admin password.

This is exactly what I have tried to do in the past. I just went through these steps again. But, when I attempt to log in, using the guest password. It does not work. Password is invalid.

Make sure you are pressing save after entering the password. Then, make sure you are pressing login with your password and not just enter. It shoudn't matter, but for some reason sometimes it does. Make sure your browser is completely refreshing and not bringing up a cached version of the webpage. You can do this by a force update (F5) or by clearing your cache manually. If none of those work, I am out of suggestions and maybe FTM will weigh in.
