2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
No sure how to score 2 players advancing on the same wild pitch. Entering both advances as a wild pitch seems to credit the pitcher with 2 wild pitches. Should one runner be shown as advancing "On The Throw" even if there was no throw?

Re: 2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
As long as you do it all on a single pitch, it will only count the wild pitch once. To do that:
1. Ball
2. Click the lead base runner (if runners on 1st and 2nd, click runner on 2nd)
3. Click Safe, Third, Wild Pitch
4. It then asks you what happened to the runner on the earlier base (1st in this case). Click Safe, Second, Wild Pitch
This will only credit the pitcher with a single wild pitch in stats, and both players will be shown as advancing on the wild pitch.

Re: 2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
I was wondering how to do this correctly, too, and will do this as FTM suggests. What I had been doing was 1. Ball; 2. Click the lead runner; 3. Click Safe, Third, Wild Pitch; then 4. When asked what happened to the runner on an earlier base, I click Safe (appropriate advanced base), Held Up. Is there anything wrong with doing it this way? I did because I was under the impression that the way FTM outlined *did* credit the pitcher with two WPs.

Re: 2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
The only difference between the two approaches would be on the scorecard. By doing the wild pitch for both runners, it will show "WPx" on the baseline so that you will know that each runner advanced on a wild pitch. Statistically, things will be the same with either approach though.

Re: 2 Players Advance on Same Wild Pitch
I tried this same approach with a Passed Ball and it didn't work as expected. Both players were shown on the scorecard as advancing on a passed ball which seems correct so far. But looking at the fielding stats, the catcher was credited with two passed balls, which is incorrect.FTMSupport wrote:As long as you do it all on a single pitch, it will only count the wild pitch once. Whereas, if for the earlier base runner you click Safe, Second, Held Up, then you correctly get one passed ball credited to the catcher.

We will look into this issue for passed ball. Thank you.
