Data CSV sharing

Post by Dale » Sat Sep 15, 2012 8:20 am

I have some old files (CSV) from a previous year (scored by someone else) that I'd like to import into my account. I have the file on my hard drive for each game of a previous season, and would like to bring them into my account. Is that possible? I would like to import them using a different team name so I can identify, and keep that season seperate from the current seasons I'm doing now. thanks.

If the games were scored with iScore, you can ask that previous person for their customer ID and password that will allow you to do Data Sharing as described here to retrieve those games:

You can create dummy games, use Misc -> End Game, and go directly to Batting Stats and override the values for each of the games. But the only automated way of getting data from one iScore device to another is using the Data Sharing functionality.

If you just want totals for a player from prior year as opposed to game specific details, , you can make the dummy game a whole season, give them 100 hits instead of 3 for example.

Iscore also allows importing of CSV stats as described here:

http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _stats.php

But it is intended for season stats, not individual games.
