Designated Hitter

Post by bf2539 » Fri Jul 27, 2012 4:34 pm

Using the DH rule for hitting for a pitcher. When I choose a pitcher for the night instead of showing he is not a hitter I choose DHP but when it comes for the hitting lineup the computer shows he is a hitter. So the only way I have figured out to remove him from the hitting lineup is to remove all the pitchers from being pitchers and then just put down he is not hitting and that works. Is there an easier way to do this without going through 15 pithcers and show OUT from the program.

Set the fielding position for the pitcher to "P", and set the batting for the pitcher to NO.

We do not have a "DHP" setting. If you are setting the player to DP, this is "Designated Player" and goes hand in hand with the "Flex" player. The DP / Flex rules are used in softball and have a very specific meaning.
