After game edit, won't let me pick the right option?

This is my first time trying to do an edit after a game. Player hit it to left and made it to 3rd. I scored it an error because it should have easily been caught but the left fielder was, well, not good. To keep in sync with how the coaches scored it, I wanted to change it to a triple. I went to play-by-play, and when I clicked Edit on the "xxx made it to 3rd on error by left fielder", the only option I get is "Single", no double or triple.. how come?

You can not edit something up to a multi base hit through pitch by pitch because it is actually multiple events that make up a runner making it to multiple bases. If you had entered it as a triple, you could edit it to a double + error, then a single + error, then just an error if you want, but not the other way around.

To get the statistics to be a triple, you can go to Game Manager, select the game, select Batting Stats, and tap the 3B column for the correct player and increase the value by one. You should also reduce the ROE column by 1. You can add a note in the pitch by pitch to say it was a triple.
