double play fielding cummulative calculations

double play fielding cummulative calculations

Have a situation where we finally recorded a double play for this year.

When looking at the graphic fielding stats for the game, we've noticed that John and Spencer are recorded for 1 DP (they were the players involved in the play.

However, the totals cell notes only 1 DP. Is that part of the calucation to divide number of DP's by 2?

Not necessarily by two, but by however many were involved in the DP. As a team, its just one DP, but each player gets credit.

Sounds like it is being handled properly.
