Problem with a statistic - iPad version

Post by sfr » Fri Apr 13, 2012 9:58 am

I went back into a completed game and changed a hit to an error for one of our batters. The scorecard now reads correctly, the game record reduced our total # of hits by 1 correctly, however when I go into our Team Batting Statistics it still shows that particular batter with 1 hit. Moreover, the player's hit total is in bold font and will not allow me to touch edit.

Is there a way to correct this? Thanks.

A couple of thoughts:

Where are you viewing the batting stats from after the change? It should update. If you are viewing online, you would need to re-export.

When editing stats, the bold fields are calculations and not editable. You would instead edit the sub-fields that comprise that calculation. So, you would edit single by -1 and the bold field will reduce by -1.

Again, that shouldn't be necessary here, though.

Viewing on iPad. I agree, it shouldn't be necessary. It just seems weird since all other stats tangentially related to the change I made were updated.

Try viewing the Player Card and see if the stat line for that game is correct. The stats on team stats are generated from the same data as the player card, so if it is right there, it should be right in the Team Stats.

In looking at the Player Card, the player's stat line is incorrect.

I guess I will edit the sub-field (in this instance, 1B) in the Team Stats and see if that changes everything correctly. Unless you have any other suggestions.

Thanks.
