subbing

Post by Schutel1 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 1:50 pm

I bought this app for my new Ipad and I love it except it won't let me sub in for the visiting team. I can do the home team but not the visitors. When visitors are batting and I click on the batter, it only comes up with the defensive screen and it only has the current lineup, it doesn't include the whole roster and I can't switch it to offensive.

You have to have players on the opposing team that are set to Batting = NO (i.e. the "bench" players) in order for the Offensive substitutions tab to be visible. You can go to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup and add new players to the lineup from there. When you are setting up an opponents team, it is a good idea to add a couple extra "bench" players with Batting = NO so they are available as offensive substitutions during the game.
