New Season 2.0

Post by reals23 » Fri Feb 24, 2012 10:42 am

I have updated my roster and when I get the game from our scorekeeper (who has updated his roster) I am getting the old team on the data share. His admin site shows the game with the new players, when I take it from him, it shows the old players on mine. Some of the players are still on the team and have just changed numbers. I have tried everything on this site. I kept getting overridden with the old players. Very confused... I feel like this should not be that difficult to start a new season, way too much leg work, in my opinion. Clear concise steps would be great.

When the scorekeeper scores a new game with an updated roster, and you data share to import that game, you will get a list of all new players on the data sharing screen. It will allow you to map those players to existing players on your device, or add them as new players.

side note: one of the "rules" for data sharing process, is only games not on the receiving device can be transferred, If the receiving device already has the game on it (from a prior attempt), be sure to delete the game from the receiving device before data sharing again. that may help in this case.
