I just created a new league. I created 8 teams under the league. I added players for some teams, just the ones I have knowledge of. I exported the data to the server. Then I performed a data transfer from tris IPad into a second IPad. I used the Bluetooth data transfer option..
Everything was transferred but the league name. The 8 teams along with the players I included were there. I had to create the new league in my second IPad and assign each team and player manually to the league one by one in the second IPad, why it was not transferred?
After that was done I added 2 more players in a team in my primary IPad. I then tried to update my second IPad with a data transfer, this time it says there is no new data to update. It does not seem to know there are 2 new players added to a team. How this can be updated? I still have 4 teams where I am missing players, so later on I have to add them and need them to be updated in my second IPad as well.
Please let me know how to accomplish this without screwing what I have done so far.
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Data transfer
Leagues do not get transferred with data transfer as you have seen.
Teams do not get re-transferred if they already exist on the device, but there are two ways around this. One is to create a game with the team, and transfer that game to the second device. This will add the additional players to the rosters of the team involved. The second is to delete the team from the second device, and then iScore will let you re-transfer the team again.
We have an enhancement on our list to allow re-transferring of existing teams to get the rosters updated... this is something we will be adding in a future update.

Re: Data transfer
where can I get detailed instructions on how to transfer data from one Ipad to another?
Re: Data transfer
Will deleting a team(to add add additional players) not mess up stats of games currently in the device?

Re: Data transfer
It will not mess up the stats on the current device... just be sure that it is the exact same team being imported again.
