API? Using AJAX to pull in data? Anything?

Post by fcp3net » Sun Nov 13, 2011 6:16 am

I know most of the people on this forum are non-programmers, but I can tell you, there's a definite need for an API for this app that allows for the sharing of player and team data between the app and another website. Is this in the works? If not, can anyone give some suggestions on how to pull the data in another way? I was thinking, AJAX would be one way to accomplish this; I noticed that you also allow for iFrame content.

A couple posts from elsewhere in the forum on the topic of API..

FTM does not have a formal api as i understand it but they have some partner program (not sure dollars or rights of use etc..) but they have partnered/shared data maps with third parties before if they felt in the best interest of the iscore community.. if you are willing and able to build an app and put in iTunes store.. FTM may be able to provide you a data map you need..
