pinch hitter for DH

I may be just missing something, but I have a DH up to bat, who gets a strike on him. A Pinch-hitter comes in for him. When I tap the batter, the fielding screen comes up, but I don't want to switch a fielder out, just the batter (DH), but where do I swap him out? I swear I've tapped everywhere... help?

If the fielding screen is coming up, then it sounds like you have your lineup set to all players with Batting = YES. In order to have offensive substitutions, you must have at least one player in the lineup with Batting = NO or iScore thinks you have no substitutes available. You can tap Misc -> Show Starting Lineup, and add a player to your lineup with Batting = NO, then tap the batter and you will be able to make an offensive substitution.
