how are you notified?
Wondering how the notification process from Apple works. Will you be notified and maybe given a date for when it will show up in intunes? Or are you emailed notification? Or do you just check itunes like we do

Re: how are you notified?
We are sent an email at the same time it becomes available in iTunes - we do not get any advance notification. You will see a little red (1) if you go to the App Store on your device and are connected to the internet (or iPhone is always connected) indicating that an update is available.
We will be posting in the forum as soon as we get the notification as well.

Do the approvals come at anytime, or is pretty much a working day process?
Thanks,
PS I watched the 1st installment for version 2.0, AWESOME!

Re: how are you notified?
The latest we have received an approval is about 8pm PST. The earliest is about 10am PST. This does not mean it could not come outside of that range, but this has been our experience.

Come on Apple, get with it. We are all waiting out here!!!
Re: how are you notified?
Your app must be more dangerous to the 3G network than Skype or Slingbox to take this long.

Re: how are you notified?
The only thing we can think of for the delay is the depth of functionality. We do a lot more than most applications available on the app store. Our data usage is quite small... even when iScorecast is enabled, a complete game only sends about 50k of data for the entire game.
Re: how are you notified?
Below is my "theory" of what happened, as posted elsewhere in the forum.
"I think I know what is happening at Apple!
The person in charge of evaluating and approving the software got sooooooo hooked up with it that he/she is enjoying the multiple new functionalities, scoring games, and FORGOT to click on the "YES" button on the "approval machine" at the App Store "factory".
This is torture and should be investigated by the relevant authorities! "
Just a little thing to alleviate or suffering.... while we wait, and wait and wait....
