Edit score during game

Post by taff » Thu Sep 01, 2011 5:41 pm

I scored our game today, and errantly scored a runner in the first inning that actually did not score before the last out. I caught the error in the third inning, too late to undo,undo,undo......is there another way to fix this? The game was finished with one extra run, it was my second game with this app, so I was struggling to keep up at first. Once I got used to where to look for certain plays, it became very user friendly.

Unfortunately there is no easy fix for a game changing event other than undo. There is the option of stat override, but that does not fix boxscores or iscorecasts. If you want to be a purist, I suggest printing out the current scorecard and play by play. Using both those reports it is fairly easy for a "do-over" - re-score the game and delete the incorrect one. I had a few of those myself when I was learning the program as it was easy to get behind or make a mistake.
