Cumulative stats
By mistake I deleted team 1 when I created it as team 2. They played about 7 games as team 1 and about 11 games as team 2. I now want to merge the two. All of the games played as team 1 are still there. I have recreated team 1 but how do I get the results and stats for the 7 games played as team 1 to accumulate in the new team 1 so that I can then merge team 1 into team 2?
Your program is great. I was previously using a competitors which was MUCH more expensive than your and not nearly as good. Your support is excellent. Keep up the good work!!!!!

Re: Cumulative stats
If you do an Options -> Export, and email your customer ID (found on Options screen) and describe the situation again to support@iscoresports.com, we can take a look.

Re: Cumulative stats
We are having a very similar problem. I was running late for a game and another parent decided to 'get the game ready' for me. From what it looks like now, it appears that she renamed our team the team we were playing and then reset up our team switching 2 words around. All of our games prior to this are still in the game manager under the original name, but showing up under another team in the team manager and if I look at those games on the admin website in the box scores it lists the other team name. Is there any chance of getting those beginning 10-12 games back under our team?

Re: Cumulative stats
You can rename the team back. Renaming a team does not change the underlying team the data is for. We use an internal ID to represent the team, so changing the team name does not change that internal ID. It does mean the newer game that was scored may be incorrect, and there is not a way to "disassociate" the new game from the team it was scored for.
i.e. If your team is "Team A", and you created a new game on your device by selecting Team A, but renaming the team to "Team B", the team is still the same underlying internal ID ("Team A").

if your issue involves having two teams visible on your device (ie not deleted one, like @ brian_oshea), that are in fact the same team.. you can use the Merge team feature. (button found on bottom left of screen in team manager page).
The merge feature brings up a two column list of all the teams in the active league on your device , you highlight in the right column the team to merge into the left column. go forward only the team in the left column will exist and with it, all their games and roster associated with the team on the right. (the team on the right and its underlying team id are permanently gone after this)

Re: Cumulative stats
Here is a little more information before I try anything that might make it worse...Our team was entered originally as Team 12U A, we played 10 games like that and everything was working great. Then one night a parent changed the name to Team B, deleted our lineup and added the other team's lineup and then reset up us as Team A 12U with a new roster. So now no Team 12U A exists, Team B exists with our roster and stats from the first 10 games plus the team we played that night and their stats and Team A 12U exists with cummulative stats from that night forward (probably about 20 games). So if I merge the 2 teams, won't I get their stats too? Would an answer be to delete that game, merge the two teams and then reenter the game?
Re: Cumulative stats
Turn on ALL league, in league manager so we can trouble shoot and be sure league filters off
Thanks for additional detail. It sounds like the "11th" game. is very problematic. without it, you could merge w/o a problem. Assuming you want to save game 11 in its entirety, scorebook, play by play stats etc, the best solution is to sit down and re score game 11 from the start.
It won't be that bad if you print out copies of the play by play and scorecard before you score it. (plus watch an iscorecast of original game too to help with pitch by pitch. the combination means - just takes time to correct.
(if you happen to have access to two devices post back, there are some other tricks we can leverage)
first, to Validate my understanding....
Two teams in your device
Team B (Originally Team 12U A, played 10 games .. Now called Team B ... and Team B show 11 games played in its team stats (10 games with your players and one game "game 11" with other teams players)
New Team A 12U.. Shows 20+ games in its stats, including "game 11" . All with expected players, basically same players as in Original Team 12UA.
then My Suggestion -
Export for safe keeping.
Print out copy of cumulative team stats for new Team A 12U,
print out copy of game 11 play by play and scorecard for game 11
iscorecast synch game 11 (game manager, game 11, scroll down, iscorecast synch)
Create a new Team C, (from players on Team B that were your opponents)
Create a new game (call it 11B)
Game 11B will be New Team A 12U vs New Opponent C (made out of players from team B).
Call up the iscorecast for game 11 on your pc, and gather your print outs..
Re score game 11, call it "game 11B" (for now)
Export again for safe keeping
delete game 11.
check that Team B now has only 10 games (lost original game 11).
Check new Team A 12U still has 20 games (deleted original game 11 and added game 11B) and stats should be as printed out.
Now merge Team B (right column) into new Team A 12U left column,
check stats for new Team A 12U it should be 30 games.
Hope that makes sense.

Re: Cumulative stats
Oddly enough it makes perfect sense! I think I have everything added and printed out, I will hopefully be re-scoring the game at lunch today. I will let you know if we still win! Thanks for your help.
Re: Cumulative stats
great. reminder: export before you try, so you have an emergency backup.

Re: Cumulative stats
THANK YOU!!! I followed your steps exactly and with a little bit of work/time I now have all of the cummulative stats where they are suppose to be. I would not have figured that out on my own, thanks again!
