What is the use of Preset Fielding?

What exactly is Preset Fielding, what does it gain you and what are its limitations? I have a pretty good grasp on iScore, and was just looking thru other functionality that I haven't used before.

mainly used in youth teams that have lots of rotations. you can preset Johnny plays left this inning short this inning, out next inning. the benefit is saves folks who rotate players every defensive inning from doing all the entry at the field or is a cheat sheet list for them if they are telling people where to go.

Ah, ok...I get it!! Thanks much!
Re: What is the use of Preset Fielding?
I like this function, however, once the game starts, is there a way to see the future field positions that have been preset? This would be useful for getting a pitcher or catcher ready. It seems that once you start scoring the game, you can't see those positions until you're in that specific inning.
Re: What is the use of Preset Fielding?
That is correct. It is not accessible in game.
This feature is fairly new, and FTM has on it's list for consideration the idea to make it visible and potentially editable in game.

This is the one feature I would really love to have on the Android version... I am scrambling between innings trying to get the field positions updated, speaking to the team and getting everyone set. Hopefully this is near the top of FTM's list

So this isn't an option on the Android yet? Oh man, I am so disappointed to hear that. This app is seriously hard to keep up with in youth games and I was really hoping I could utilize this feature to keep me in the game. Any idea when it might be? I think it might be a near perfect app once it's in.
