Setting ERA innings

Post by jdub » Sun Jun 07, 2009 7:59 am

I see that in the latest update I can calculate ERA using less than 9 innings. How do I do that?

I believe that is something that is coming in the next release. ERA is defined as 9 innings, so it will actually be a different stat. There are several other posts on this in the forum.

Yes, you are right. I just looked at the update, they call it ERG (Earned Runs per Game). Now I just have to find how to tweak the ERG. :D

It is based on the number of innings you set your game to. So if you want ERG to be based on 7 innings, set your games to 7 innings.

If you go in to score a game (even an already completed game), and click the little "tool" icon, you can set the # of innings for your game.

ERG will use the number of inning in the game for it's calculations.
