catching up on the scoreboard

Post by ddavid55 » Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:30 am

If I enter a game say at the bottom of the 3rd and there are runs already made. Can I enter scores the happened in the 1st and 2nd inning?

Thanks, dd

Yes, via a workaround I saw somewhere on here. Just enter home runs and outs until you are all caught up. Obviously the stats wont be correct, and you might need to have a little more info than the scoreboard might show, to ensure you end up on the right batter. Overall though, I thought it was a pretty clever idea that someone had. I wish I had a better memory so I could give them credit.

You can't go backwards very easily. If you have already scored the 3rd.

But if you show up late, and fake it first, then score the third on...workaround is ok.
(Not as good as starting from the beginning but depending on your needs may work)

What you do is create a fake batter(s) for each team and have them score home runs in the first two innings as needed to get the scoreboard right..

.. Give them a descriptive fake name like, fake player, catch up score etc.. put them in the top of the line up and have them score needed runs and then skip them or sub them in/ out which ever works for you. This will get the game score and scoreboard right..

You may also want to put in a fake pitcher for those innings..

After the game you can go back and use the manual stat override to adjust stats based on what fill in information you have...
