Edit the Roster
Edit the Roster
Dabbled with this app a little and trying to figure out all of its little shortcuts. One that I can't figure out: How can you edit a lineup from a previous game? ie: We play little league and the teams don't change but they may change the order of the batting lineup. Please help
Re: Edit the Roster
Welcome to the board.
Using Team manager go to the team, then roster, move the players by touching and holding the 3 bars on the right then moving the player to the correct spot in the line up.
This can also be done when you create a game in game manager and the starting lineup shows when you touch the game to start.

Re: Edit the Roster
Here's one important tip that I always find useful:
When you first enter the roster at the start of the season, the "usual" lineup is often unknown. It sometimes takes a few games before the lineup evolves to its typical order.
I recommend, at the end of the first few games, from within the scoring screen itself, you choose Misc / Show Starting Lineup / Options / Copy Lineup -> Roster. This will automatically set the default team roster to the game-played lineup. Then the next time the team plays, it will default to the last game's batting order and fielding positions. You can then make minor changes to the lineup by moving the players up or down in the order as Dan described.
One note: if the game has already ended, the Misc button will disappear. To make it appear after the game is over, tap the Undo button (this will undo the last play), then follow the steps above to reset the default lineup. Then tap Redo to end the game again.

Re: Edit the Roster
Another way to do this is to go into the Game and tap the 'Pitch By Pitch' button, select the 'Game Starts' event and then tap the 'Edit' button next to 'Starting Lineup'. You now have access to the lineup and the 'Options' button for copying the lineup to the roster.baystatebaseball wrote:One note: if the game has already ended, the Misc button will disappear.
