Data Sharing - Override

Post by J-Man » Mon Mar 28, 2011 5:42 am

I do most of my scoring on my iPad. However, I do have the possibility of doing it on my iPhone as well (I have both apps). With that being said, I've always tried to keep the 2 in sync via Data Sharing. Recently, and let me see if I can explain this correctly, I updated a team's player names on my iPad. I then want to sync these to my iPhone. How I was doing this was I went ahead and deleted the team completely off my iPhone, then I did the Data Sharing part. However, when I import the iPad data, the team comes across fine, but the new names attempt to map to the old names I had. Do I need to add the players on my iPhone before doing this Data Sharing? I was hoping that the new players would simply come across with the team...

We responded to your other post on this as well. The players do not "change names" once they have been mapped and/or data shared. This is by design as noted in the other response.
