do I have to be connected to internet to use this app. I have an Ipod toch not an Iphone so I would like to know before I spend $10 on somethin I can't use at a game

I have an i touch and have scored hundred plus games. Yes joey the app works great with an itouch
When i am at a field with out an internet connection,
When i get back home i use my wifi connection to email stats and update team web sites.
There are some features that require a connection, like real time tweets, iscorecasts, and data shareing and updateing team web sites but that does not prevent you from using the app without a connecttion for its main purpose ..scoreing a game.
If you want to electronify scorekeeping ..get the app and jump in...
