adding a run

Post by dougbright » Sun Oct 31, 2010 6:07 am

Is there a way to go back and add a run (and a steal to home) after the game is over. Wasn't paying attention and forgot to score a run on a steal from home in all the excitement. I'd prefer not to have to undo the entire game and re-enter all data.

There is not a way to add runs after the game is over, but you can update the stats for the players without having to re-enter the whole game. You can go to Game Manager, select the game, then view the stats for the team that should have the stolen base and run scored. In the "stats table" that comes up, for the row of the player that should get the Steal + Run Scored, tap the Steals column, and you can enter a number one higher than he currently has. Then tap the Runs column, and you can enter a number one higher than he currently has there as well. Now that player's individual statistics will be correct.

You can go to the Pitch by Pitch listing and add a note on the play it should have occurred and at the end (and/or beginning) of the game saying that the player stole a base and what the actual score should have been so anyone reading the Play by Play listing will know what actually happened.
